Mains objectives
1. This organization will be a non-profit, public-interest social organization.
2. To conduct various employment-oriented programs nationwide.
3. To initiate programs aimed at motivating people to find work within Nepal as much as possible, thereby reducing the dependency on foreign employment.
4. To coordinate with various organizations and the Government of Nepal to create employment opportunities within the country, offering programs that encourage Nepali youth to work domestically instead of seeking employment abroad.
5. To provide appropriate selfless counseling to individuals planning to work abroad, covering topics such as the host country’s lifestyle, language, religion, culture, laws and other related matters.
6. To provide programs that offer information on the complete preparations needed for overseas employment from initiating the process to reaching the destination. These programs will also provide information on salaries, the vocational skills required and safe and organized foreign employment practices.
7. To offer legal assistance, counseling and proper guidance for those considering foreign employment.
8. To provide necessary information regarding the various bodies and procedures required for overseas employment.
9. To inform individuals of the positive and negative aspects of working abroad.
10. To undertake necessary actions for the rescue and legal remedy of those who face difficulties while working abroad and to coordinate with relevant bodies to resolve such issues.
11. To assist in securing appropriate compensation for serious injuries or disabilities resulting from foreign employment. The organization will also arrange the management of the remains and ensure the body is returned to the deceased’s home in Nepal in the event of a worker’s death abroad.
12. To raise awareness on the safeguarding of earnings made abroad and to organize programs that provide information on businesses that can be started in Nepal post-foreign employment. The organization will also conduct various programs aimed at youths interested in business and entrepreneurship upon returning from foreign employment.
13. To conduct studies, research, lectures, training, visits, seminars, interactions and discussion forums related to the objectives mentioned above. Additionally, to publish books, souvenirs, bulletins, newsletters, calendars and diaries.
14. To organize various programs in collaboration with the Department of Foreign Employment, Labor Department and related governmental and non-governmental agencies to fulfill the above objectives.
15. To conduct any other social non-profit activities permitted by the law of Nepal.
16. To collaborate with organizations that share similar goals as well as with the Government of Nepal, non-governmental organizations and local bodies.
